Mick O'Neill

Mick comes from a small town in the South of Ireland named Wicklow. Raised in a household immersed in music, his father's involvement in cover bands and pipe bands left a lasting impression. The influence led Mick to develop skills in playing the drums, guitar, and singing, ultimately becoming a member of a cover band. Additionally, he occasionally serves as a DJ for parties and weddings. Growing up with a constant soundtrack provided by Longwave Radio Atlantic 252 fueled his love for radio.

Mick's academic journey led him to a TV and Radio course in college, and he has maintained a continuous presence in radio, having worked on pirate, local, and online radio platforms. Fueled by a profound passion for music, Mick believes that radio serves as the optimal medium to share the joy that music brings to people.
